The Texas Hospitality Association (THA), founded in 2007, is a statewide, non-profit association made up Texas businesses that sell or serve adult beverages. Members include restaurants, bars, hotels, convenience stores, grocery stores veterans' groups, fraternal organizations and wine, beer and distilled spirit industry groups.

THA's mission is to encourage the responsible sale and service of adult beverages and to fight underage drinking through public awareness campaigns and education.

To fulfill its mission, THA endorses responsible marketing practices that include:

- The promotion of aggressive identification requirements

- And the strict enforcement of Texas alcohol laws

THA makes training and educational information available to retailers, servers and parents throughout the state.

To reach the widest audience possible, THA involves all sectors of the community, including public officials, beverage alcohol wholesalers and retailers, educators, health care professionals, and private citizen organizations, in the fight against underage drinking.

THA's educational campaign is designed so everyone will know the law and adult beverages will be enjoyed responsibly and only by adults. THA wants everyone to know the law. 

THA is committed to modernizing the Texas alcohol beverage industry and to the development of a healthy and responsible hospitality industry.
